The queue for Jungle Cruise is relatively long and consists of two waiting areas, so it’s difficult to gauge the wait from the outside. Jungle Cruise is a blast for children but is also enjoyed by the young-at-heart. Some adults may find themselves rolling their eyes at their skipper’s cheesy lines, but it’s all part of the charm. However, some young or sensitive children could be startled in the dark temple with snakes present, or by the gunshot sound effect. Guests are routed to the left of the construction area, and then toward the “back” of the queue past the shipping office, as crowd levels necessitate. Ironically, before becoming known for its laughs and silly jokes, the attraction as a whole was initially more of a serious tone with only a few jokes inserted here and there.
